Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Business Starter, we pride ourselves on providing expert support, advice and setup services designed to help new and growing UK businesses succeed. This Returns & Cancellation Policy outlines your rights and obligations when purchasing our products and services.
By subscribing to or purchasing any of our services, you agree to the terms below.
2. Advice Subscriptions
Minimum Contract Term: 12 months
Our Advice Subscriptions provide access to professional business, financial, legal, social media and procurement advice. Due to the nature of these ongoing advisory services:

All Advice Subscriptions are subject to a minimum 12-month commitment.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan.

Early cancellation is permitted only in exceptional circumstances and must be requested in writing. Approval is at Business Starter’s discretion.

If you choose to cancel before the end of your 12-month term, the remaining balance for the contract period will remain payable in full.

Renewals beyond the first 12 months will continue on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled with at least 30 days’ notice prior to renewal.
3. Support Subscriptions
Minimum Contract Term: 12 months
Our Support Subscriptions include operational assistance, onboarding help and continuous guidance for your business setup and growth.

Each Support Subscription carries a minimum 12-month term.

As these are service-based subscriptions, no refunds are issued once access to support or onboarding tools has commenced.

Early termination requests must be made in writing and are subject to Business Starter’s approval.

If cancelled early, the full remaining contract amount will still be due.

After the initial term, subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
4. Set-Up Costs
Set-up costs include, but are not limited to, company registration, domain setup, social media creation, bank account assistance and other bespoke onboarding services.

All setup fees are non-refundable.

This is because setup work begins immediately upon order and services are tailored specifically to your business.

Once payment has been made and work has commenced, no cancellations or returns are available for setup costs.
5. Refund Exceptions
Refunds may only be granted in the following limited circumstances:

Where a duplicate payment has been made in error; or
-
Where Business Starter is unable to deliver the purchased service due to circumstances within our control.
In such cases, refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
6. How to Request a Cancellation

Reason for cancellation
We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days and provide next steps.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law. Business Starter complies fully with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK regulations for digital and business-to-business services.
